Bita Amani, Founder
Bita Amani is the Head Instructor and Creative Director of Bita’s Living Art Centre. Originally from Iran, she has been passionate about art since childhood and earned a Fine Arts degree from the college of Art in Iran. She later continued her education at OCAD University and George Brown College in Canada.
Since moving to Canada in 2001, Bita has been an active member of the local art community, exhibiting her work in numerous galleries and serving as a board member of Arts Richmond Hill. She established her Art centre in 2002 under the name Bita Art centre.
As an educator, Bita mentors students of all ages, guiding them to develop their artistic skills and exhibit their work in contests and festivals. Through her expertise and dedication, she continues to inspire creativity and artistic excellence.
Lida Kashani, Art Instructor
Lida Kashani is a talented visual artist and an experienced teacher who has dedicated many years to educating students in Richmond Hill and Markham. As an art teacher in Montessori schools, she has guided her students to participate in numerous local, provincial, and national art competitions, where they have proudly earned numerous first and second-place awards.
Lida's formal art training includes two years in a figure drawing program at Beaux-Arts in France and four years in Fine Arts at the University of Tehran. She has continued her journey as an artist through painting, drawing, teaching, and showcasing her work in both group and solo exhibitions. She deeply believes in the healing power of creativity in art, especially in our fast-paced modern world.
Before her teaching career, Lida contributed to animation production at Nelvana Animation Studio. Some of the notable projects she worked on include Magic School Bus, Franklin the Turtle, and Care Bears.
Sahar Sayad, Art Instructor
I am Sahar Sayad, a visual artist and art educator with a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts. I have extensive experience teaching art to children and have exhibited my work in galleries and art shows in both Iran and Canada. Additionally, I have worked as a graphic designer for a company specializing in creating banners and billboards.
