Bita Amani, the Head Instructor and Creative Director of Bita’s Living Art Centre, is a pivotal figure in visual arts education. Hailing from Iran, Bita's passion for art has been evident since childhood, leading her to earn a Fine Arts degree from the College of Art in Iran. She later expanded her knowledge at OCAD University and George Brown College in Canada.

Since relocating to Canada in 2001, Bita has made significant contributions to the local art community as an esteemed art instructor, showcasing her work in numerous galleries and serving as a board member of Arts Richmond Hill. In 2002, she founded Bita Art Centre, further enhancing her impact on visual arts education.

As a dedicated educator, Bita Amani mentors students of all ages, helping them develop their artistic talents and encouraging them to enter contests and festivals. Through her expertise and passion, she continues to inspire creativity and promote artistic excellence in her community.

Suzan Seddigh is an accomplished painter and art educator with over 30 years of experience teaching painting and graphic arts. She holds a degree in Painting from the University of Tehran and has taught at various art schools and educational institutions across Iran.

Throughout her artistic career, Suzan has contributed to numerous projects, including large-scale public murals, and has served as a judge for art festivals and student art competitions. Her extensive teaching experience, artistic knowledge, and passion for education have allowed her to guide and inspire generations of young artists.

Suzan currently teaches at Bita Art Center in Toronto, where she encourages students of all ages to develop their artistic skills, explore their creativity, and discover their own unique forms of artistic expression.

With over 20 years experience in illustration and character design, Artemis holds 90-minute workshops where students can come together to experience creative inspiration in a collaborative group environment. 

In these sessions, we run short creative exercises, collaborate on individual and group projects.

Participants are encouraged to use their final characters and Crete short animated pieces (iPad and Procreate required).

Lida Kashani is a talented visual artist and an experienced art instructor who has dedicated many years to educating students in Richmond Hill and Markham. In her role as an art teacher in Montessori schools, she has guided her students, along with fellow art instructors like Bita Amani, to participate in numerous local, provincial, and national art competitions, where they have proudly earned various first and second-place awards. 

Lida's formal training in visual arts education includes two years in a figure drawing program at Beaux-Arts in France and four years in Fine Arts at the University of Tehran. She has continued her journey in this field through painting, drawing, teaching, and showcasing her work in both group and solo exhibitions. Lida deeply believes in the healing power of creativity in art, especially in our fast-paced modern world. 

Before her teaching career, Lida contributed to animation production at Nelvana Animation Studio, working on notable projects such as Magic School Bus, Franklin the Turtle, and Care Bears.
